Dodge Spare Part

Found another spare it is a good idea to carry. Water In Fuel Drane Valve. Either a complete valve or a repair kit. Mine is a '01 CTD and the o ring failed at 100K. Not just a little drip, a steady stream. Not expensive and you will need a number 15 Torx.

    Water pump leaked at 85K........replaced it but don't carry a spare

    Broke a rear wheel brake line...replaced it but don't carry a spare

    Just saying, didn't like the fuel leaking out in a steady stream on the motor and I had 150 miles to go. For 17 bucks from Cummins and 15 minutes of my time I avoided a hazardous situation and saved the cost of the fuel.

    Mine dripped there a little, and I just replaced the o ring. 50 cent repair, and no more leak. It was around 100K miles when it happened.
