Does anyone know....

Does anyone have any idea what is inside the rear "fins" at the rear on each side of late 80s to very early 90s models Shadow Cruiser hard side truck campers? These are on a 9.5' model. Anyone possibly have any schematics? Have all other original documentation but not that. I know there is tail light wiring inside as the lights are mounted on them but is the rest just a decorative void? This old inquiring mind has a burning need to know. Been bugging me ever since we got it last year. Real scavenger hunt maybe. Thanks in advance guys.
  • When you did the rebuild do you recall if there was any cross framing or support at the top and especially the bottom? After closer inspection I don't believe there is enough useable space to bother with due to the angles. It was just more of a passing thought and curiosity. Really glad that all the necessary and desired fixes, add ons and changes are done. Waiting on my rear awning snap on cover to arrive and customize it for the DIY awning, then REALLY ready to get out and go. It's been a real adventure even tho no major structural work had been required. Have to find some other project to keep myself busy till then.
  • Hi: I had a eight footer and did a complete rebuid on it. Mine had nothing in there but air and wires for the lights. I believe that they like the nose cone were for aerodynamics.
