Dometic 300 toilet

I have the Dometic 300 toilet in my travel trailer. The seat on this is just terrible. It is so cheap, thin and uncomfortable. But the worst thing is that it's so squeaky when used. I bet my campground neighbors know when I am using it. I weigh all of 125 lbs. I searched the Internet and could not come up with an up graded replacement for the seat. There are replacement seat for the 310 and 320.
My question is has anyone found a better seat that would fit this toilet?

Same here. Especially if someone uses it at night.
A piece of junk. It's the entry level model. I did put tape on the edges of the seat that sit on the bowl. Did help some.

Will research new toilets and possibly upgrade when I can't stand to listen to it any more.
  • Does the seat just bolt through like normal residential seats do? If so, you can use a seat from Home Depot. There are two sizes of toilet seats; one is elongated and the other is much more round. . Your 300 used the shorter, round style. You can measure the length form front to back and simply pick one out that's about the same size.
I just replaced our TT's toilet seat with one of those soft closing units. No more slams in the middle of the night!
  • I am assuming they are selling the exact seat tthat I already have.
