Driving Truck & Hardside Camper

I am looking at buying a pick up and camper. As most of my driving is in the mountains and desert, off road, gravel roads, no serious 4 wheeling. I encounter the usual winds, sharp curves etc. Wondering how well the hard sides handle these conditions. I would put all necessary equip on truck. Seems like a lot of the hard sides I have been behind on the road do a lot of leaning in the curves and when wind gusts hit them. Looks like it would make me uncomfortable. Number of my friends have the pop up campers which are nice but the hard side seems more convenient. Any advice for a new guy appreciated.

Fargo,
The last time I saw a duallies-all-around, 4WD was with a Samarai in the same config as yours on the Rubicon. The owner had painted a phrase on each side, a name actually: "Crustacean". It actually did look like something oozing and creeping along from the Burgess Shale!
I hope your Fargo has a Dana 70 front end (or AAM equivalent) with big, wide spaced bearings, and 35 spline outers. With the duals on the front you need another pair of 'hips' for the front fenders.

:B - hi jefe that's not my Fargo - it's the Mega Dooley sumthin sumthin from a bygone SEMA show -

- my Fargo is actually a singly... with rear full air suspension/hydraulic shocks and 19.5's which also fixes the TC waddle... :E

Sam, after examining your previous posts it looks like you have come from inquiring about a bumper pull, to a pop-up, and now a single post about hard sides. The thing is, you've been on RV.net for 13 years. It looks like you are ready to make some kind of decision regarding your
RV future. Good luck to you.

Welcome, potentially, to Club TC. If you see a lot of sway with hard sides, you've been following the wrong campers. Hundreds on this very forum have solved the sway business with its few foibles. The best advice I can offer is for you to pore over the many posts regarding this issue, even going into the archives inputting key words like off-road, sway, hard side, anti-sway bar, suspension, super springs, adding leaves, rear springs, shocks, lift, lean, and the like. You will certainly get a snootful, especially if you go back for years in the archives. Also, words like, air bags, helper coils will certainly bring a mixed result.
regards, as always, jefe
