Dry cell batteries? If you mean AGMs, they are not dry but sealed. Same precautions as “wet” unsealed batteries.

Thanks a bunch. You got me, I never hear of AGM battery. I don' know it's one you don't ever put water in.Around here they call them Dry cell.I guess I'm going to have to go pull one of them out and see if it has the name or some thing on the side.

A dry cell battery is a flashlight battery. You have either maintenance free flooded lead acid (not a good choice), AGM (likely), or Luthium.Only leave them plugged in with a good 3 stage charger. AGM won't freeze.

Yes the Super start is in all my 3 trucks. I have often received free maintenance from the auto store staff in Reno in addition to battery installation. Fast and friendly service every time.

My old radio used dry cells. It had three, A cell, B cell and C cell. Probably not what he is talking about.

I have received excellent battery service/buys for 3 trucks over the years from O'Reilly's autos and they also refer to my AGM batteries as dry cell as do I meaning no water needed for maintenance as they are sealed. I love dry and hate the wet. Many items and places have different names for the same thing dudes.

It would be good to know what converter (battery charger) you have, too.
