Well, I went to buy the generator today and holy cow I guess I didn't realize how big it was. So, I ended up not getting. We just don't think it will fit on the trailer with 4 wheelers and all the other stuff we load on there. So, we are going to get electric site this time and figure out what we are going to do later. - TraciKExplorerWell, I went to buy the generator today and holy cow I guess I didn't realize how big it was. - Super_DaveExplorerIf I was camping in rainy conditions, I'd probably have erected a canopy or screen room so we could be protected from rain as well. That's where I'd put the genreator. My next choice would be to raise the jacks another 3" - 4" and just put the generator under the camper.
- dakonthemountaiExplorerI like the umbrellas also.... When I purchase my Honda 2000 next year I'll use my beach umbrella that just sticks in the sand during the rain if I need it. Why not protect the generator ($$)as much as possible? If you take care of something it will usually last a LOT longer than if you don't! :)
Dak - Reddog1Explorer III think the umbrellas are a great idea, if the wind is not blowing.
Wayne - Peg_LegExplorerI like the umbrellas.
- houstonstrokerExplorerI would cover it. We had several Honda 2000's go out last year tailgating in the rain. They refused to restart until they dried out.
