Dust proofing

The easiest would would be to attach filters to the inside of the vent cover and clean or replace the filters when they start to load up.

Ya, thought of that... if you look at how a Fantastic is made, the motor is huge and in the way, plus the vent-crank arm is there too... There's no place to put it unless you get a vent-hood and attach it to that.

Or possibly make a simple square box that rises/sits on top of the Fantastic vent. Then ya gotta seal the bottom of it - do you drill and make it permanent? Foam tape for temporary? Blue painter's tape?

Boatycall - for ordinary dust I would agree a HEPA filter isn't required. However the dust on dirt roads, especially out west tend to be much finer and would probably be fine enough to pass through a standard filter. However, try the filter you suggest and adapt if necessary. If you do decide you need to run a hepa, run the cheaper filter in front of it.

I would also want to put the filter before the fan to also help protect the fan from the dust. If the dust gets into the motor and on the blades, could be a problem and at the minimum a mess to clean back up.

I do a lot of dusty camping, I was thinking of a 12x12x1 house filter from Home Repo, stuffed into the inside of my Fantastic, and the fan set to blow into the TC.

Positive pressure, blowing into the filter, then into the TC. As far as I know, getting a hepa isn't required for plain ole road dust. Hepa is for much smaller allergens and particles.

I have noticed less dust collecting on the back of the camper but I still have to broom
off the bumper.

On dusty roads I use my fantastic fan on low in to create the pressure. Just have to remember to come to a stop slowly so the dust doesn't catch you. To solve this poblem, could easily make a simple HEPA rated filter to take care of the dust befoe it gets pulled in.

Or for simply method, make a hepa filter with a simple 12V computer fan to create the pressure all mounted to a piece of plexiglass or wood that fits into the pass through window or some place else. This will probably be my solution for the next camper when I start traveling on more dirt roads where other traffic is likely.

Brilliant...!! we use positive air consistently during demo projects; it's amazing how little air it takes to accomplish the goal.

You have the right idea of treating the problem instead of the symptoms. The problem is the vacuum of the dead space behind the camper drawing the dust in to the back wall.
Bear with me I'm thinking outside of the box here.
You might try adding a small "wing" at the top of the camper to direct wind into the void. I would do a test with some clamps and maybe a 1" x 6" board. Run it all the way across the very rear of the camper at maybe a 45 degree angle with the forward edge up. That should disturb the vacuum enough to keep the dirt off the back wall.
