A "great thing"? How about building them correctly in the first place?
Wasn't that long ago when manufacturers would decide to not do recalls knowing customers will die as a result.
They didn't announce recalls until they were threatened with Federal Government involvement and many dealer and customer lawsuits. After all, what's a few dozen lives to several billion dollars of profits to the manufacturer?
I may come across as cynical, and I am, perhaps due to years of life experiences with business, manufacturing, technology and Government, NONE of whom can I trust to be Competent and Honest at this stage in my life.
