Escape hatch cover

The crank up cover for the escape hatch on my 2001 Lance Lite 845 has started to crack and leak at the rivets. The inside of the metal frame measures 19" X 25 3/4". I cannot locate any manufacturer info and I am unsure how these buggers are sized.

Any help in what dimensions I actually need to measure, a vendor and sizing will be greatly appreciated. The gaskets around a couple side windows and especially the front window are showing their age as well. Any suggestions on sources for replacement rubbers will be helpful as well. Thanks
  • I'm curious what price was quoted to you. Adventure R/V has them has them for $55.00.
  • I used a fiberglass repair kit from a hardware store to fix mine. Lay some mat on it, spread the resin on and you'll have a nice solid waterproof hatch cover, stronger than a new one even.
  • Thanks for all the feedback and suggestions. Just after I posted here I sent a note to Lance and the next day their parts department responded with picture, price and availability (in stock). Very impressed with the customer service. I'm going to go ahead and buy a new one and then save the old one and see if I can create a spare.
  • Tweetys Here is a link to the sizing info I found when I replaced mine, It seems that you use the rough opening measurement. I ended up buying mine from Amazon
  • My cover started to crack at the rivets also, I used JB Weld about four years ago, no more problems.
  • I had to replace that cover on my 1998 Lance 845 a couple years ago.
The correct size is 17 by 24 inches, Elixir part# 90088-1.
This is for the cover only, not the complete vent.
I got it from Lazydays in Tucson.
