With few exceptions the ones that sell the most are usually best. You don't sell boatloads of something if it's inferior in many ways at all. There are exceptions (hamburgers, computers, phones, utilities, etc) but for commodities (which, lets face it, cars/trucks are) the best sells the most.
The term "best" covers a lot of territory. The Camry sells because it represents a combination that appeals to a great number of buyers, price, features, Toyota reputation etc. but that doesn't come close to making it the best car in the world. That's like saying a Timex is a better watch than a Rolex because it sells more.
