Should have been more clear, when I said neighbor, I meant my camp neighbor. I tested my cord from my post to his trailer very soon after having problems. It worked just fine, ruled out camp power and my cord in one shot. Ended up being the plug on the outside of the TT. I'll get a new one after the weekend and install.

Called dealership and tech suggested checking the plug for shore power. Unscrewed it and checked what i could without taking the plastic clamp off (it would break). We now have power. So I'll be buying a plug and reinstalling. Can't believe it was that simple. Thanks for the help this weekend guys!

My bad. I edited my posts so no one is misled in the future.

EVERY PERSON WHO OWNS AN RV NEEDS A MULTI-METER.
An invaluable piece of equipment for only about $10.

In this immediate case, ask around of your "neighbors".
It is usually fairly easy to find someone who will be eager to help......and has the necessary knowledge and a meter.

Agree with above post.

Your problem is not in your trailer. Your shore power is working when you piggy back from the neighbor, and, it was working at your house. The problem is at the campground post.

Has campground verified power is working at the post?

Have you tried the breakers at the post? Turn them off and back on. They could be tripped and not look that way.

1. You had 120 volt shore power at home and everything worked. You plugged into another source of 120 volt shore power at the campground and now no 120 volt power. That implies the source at the campground is faulty.
2. Test the campground source by turning off and then on the breakers at the campground source. If no improvement, then plug trailer into another source. If you now have 120 volts, it was the campground.
3. If still no 120 volt, you need a tester. Test the campground to be certain it is supplying 120 volts. After unplugging trailer, go inside and remove cover to the trailer's breaker box. Confirm that all the wires there are tight and secure in their proper connection.
4. Plug trailer back into the working park source. Test the main wires- the trailer cord wires where they connect in the breaker box. You should have 120 volts there. IF not, you have a broken wire internally in the trailer cord itself. If you do have 120 volts there, turn off and then on the trailer main breaker. then test the individual breakers if you do not have 120 volts there, the main breaker is faulty.

I bet you do not have 120 volts at the park's source.

I was asking if you had a surge protector on your cable, not a permanently installed one. You apparently have a 15 amp adapter, can you try that and then plug in that way?
