If you have power when plugged in at home and to another camper then your RV is fine. The problem is the pedestal at the site. Have the campground repair it or change sites.
By the way, "solar prep" would NOT imply there was an AC transfer switch. It generally means there are wires run to the roof for a future solar panel. The wires likely end in a cabinet somewhere. They have absolutely nothing to do with 120v AC wiring.
