Ford Torklift assistance needed

Hey guys, I'm swapping out my front Torklifts (F2011) from my F250 to my F350 and I can't find the instructions. I saved the wire tool to hang on to the bolt to thread between the rail and fuel tank but for the life of me I don't remember how I did it. I'm sure if I'm under there long enough I'll figure it out. Thought it might go faster if someone gave me a hint. ??. I'll send a request to Torklift and see if they'll send me something. The rears are different so I'll be drilling holes in my after market hitch. ??. Thanks

It's all in your head. You've always had LESS clearance between the camper floor and the wheel wells inside the bed.

If you miss the jacks, you will find yourself with a perfectly centered camper in the bed of your truck.
  • Torklift sent me instructions but they didn't match what I had. Must have changed the design but not to worry. Once I was under the truck it all came back to me. The guy that invented the wire tool to fish the bolts through the holes was a genius. It took less than an hour to take the fronts off of the old truck and install on to the new truck. The rears came off about 2 minutes each. These I will try and sell on craigslist as they don't fit the new truck. I did have to drill 4 holes in each plate of the hitch (what a core workout that was) and it took close to 2 hours to install. Next up, learn to back a dually between camper jacks with very little clearance. Let the fun begin.
  • Torklift customer support is excellent. If you contact them I'm sure they will send you the instructions. I don't think they will adviser yoiu to drill new mounting holes though.
  • Hitch manufacturers generally recommend against drilling holes in their product.
