Fresh Water Tank Draining

I just bought a 2020 Coleman Lantern and have used it several times now and love it. I was wondering if anyone knows how to drain the Fresh Water Tank. I was hoping to find a valve I could open under the trailer to let all the water out, but I don't seem to see one. Anyone got some advise?

Thanks, John
  • Our drain is directly under the FW Tank. It's a little quarter turn plastic valve. You might have to crawl under the rig to find it.
  • Mine is under my bunkbeds and hard to reach. So, I open all my faucets & let it fill my grey tank. Then, I just drain my grey tank.
  • Hopefully, Susan, the low point of the fresh water tank is the drain and I believe it’s better to use that than the faucets.
  • It's new. I would call and ask the dealer. Or..contact Dutchmen direct.

mine is next to the tank, under the rear queen, accessible by a removable panel on the queen base.
  • Might not be a valve. Might be a short length of vinyl tubing with a plug on the end, like mine.

Thanks, I found it. I was looking on the wrong side and didn't realize it was so small.
  • My valve is conveniently located under the TT above the rear axle next to the low point drain pipes. You can just barely reach it if you squeeze under the steps.:)
