Front Cabover Window Repair?

Hello All:

Has anyone done a remove/repair of the front cabover window on a mid-90's Lance?

Ours is not currently lraking that I can find, but the rubber trim is splitting and pulling away at one corner, and I'd like to be proactive with it.

I've done a few searches, but can't find a specific walk-through on the process. Anybody been there, done that?

We don't want to do away with the window, but I want to make sure it doesn't become a problem in the future. Thanks for any insights.

Don
  • The rubber trim piece is mostly cosmetic and can likely be replaced by an auto window outfit.
  • We recently replaced glass in our front window, thread link. Not a lot of info as far as step by step, some input by others on thier windows. But what I found is though the glass is sealed between glass and interior frame with some quite tenacious mastic its the exterior insert trim (vynal?), between glass and frame, that actually holds glass in. I dont know if available or unique to camper windows.
