Quikest, cheapest and best is the Tennis ball on a string hung from the ceiling.
When it hits the windshield ......STOP !

Mount a concrete tire stop like they have in parking lots to the floor of the garage. Cheap version is a 6X6 piece of wood - use 1/2" X 10" countersunk lag bolts with expansion inserts into the floor to hold it in place.

Our garage in NY was pretty small and DW had to pull her Magnum in to where the bumper was about 4" from some shelves. I put a piece of 4x4 on the floor in the spot and she stopped when the tire hit that. I outlined the spot for the 4x4 with a sharpie so if it got kicked I could re-position it easily. It was close to the wall and almost never got moved accidentally but it was nice to be able to move it when I needed to. Admittedly low-tech.

How about a wheel chock?

I have to park with the front bumper almost touching the drywall up front. I glued at big rubber tire chock to the floor with subfloor adhesive and let it dry for a day. Now I can pull in until I hit the chock and I know Im good. Works good, cant slide and stops my truck

Heck just line up your old ST tires that blew out on your RV on the front wall :B

I actually just use a chunk of firewood :W

As I was scraping the frost off the windshield this morning I was just thinking how the next house will need to have a bigger garage or outbuilding for the truck...

I improvised one day many years ago and it is still in place. I had an old landscaping timber standing in the corner of the garage and two bags of readymix cement laying there that had got wet from snow dripping off the vehicles. Needless to say they readymixed themselves and are now bags of cement. Put the truck where I wanted it then slid the timber in place in front of the wheels. Backed the truck out and put the bags of concrete in front of the timber. Never moves and I am on the 3rd truck since I put it there. Not pretty but very effective.

I have that dilemma when I back the fifth wheel in the pole barn.

I use a short piece of 2X4 secured to the floor with a couple of Tapcons.

However I have had visions of wandering along and stubbing my toe on the board :R

X2 on the tennis ball. Park the vehicle where it belongs, hang a string from the ceiling to the windshield (and down a bit), then adjust from the ground after you poke the string thru the ball. We have two of these in the garage and they work flawlessly.

Another vote for the tennis ball. Can you put an out building on your property and off load some of your crammed stuff into it?
