Well I'm assuming you want something small enough to carry around if you will be using it like that. Unless you have a pick up you can bolt it down in. I would go with the smaller size type like the portable Honda 3000 type. You will not be able to run a 13.5 or 15k A/C unit on a 2000W model. I have a 2200W portable generator for the house. I use it to power the fridge a couple lights and a TV. I tried it on the trailer AC and it maxed it out. Go with a quality 3000W portable style, you'll be glad you did.
