Happijack turnbuckles on Torquelift frame mount

Man this equipment adds up quickly, trying to save some money toward our vacation while setting up our new to me 2006 F350 (getting soon) for truck camper. Does anybody used that combination? I used to have Happijack setup on my old truck but I will feel more secure with a frame mount as opposed to a bumber mount system. Thank you, Lou

Though Fast Guns are in the future, currently I have the frame mounts and long enough rods on the turnbuckles that chains are not needed.

Happijac sells the extra long threaded rod hook ends, if you have a short set and want to make them into a long set. Chain also works just fine for extending the length.

Ditto using chains. We use the happijack/torklift combo and use chains on the front with zero issues.

Does anybody think it would make a difference if I attached a small happijack turnbuckle with a long one to make up the length difference on the torklift tie down?

I guess I'll need to buy 2 because the front happijacks are real short , but that's great news thanks evèryone

As long as the length is right, it doesn't matter what brand name is used with what. I use Happijac turnbuckles with frame tie downs I fabricated that are somewhat similar to Torklifts. They work fine.

I did it for several years on a previous TC. Works great, just used 4 pieces of chain and some screw links.

We have Happijack turnbuckles and torklift frame mounts. Worked fine on our 2000 F350.
We have purchased Torklift derringers for our 2015 F350 because of the larger fuel door and convenience of disconnecting for fuelling. Sad to say we haven't been able to use our camper on the new truck yet, so can't say how well they work yet.

SHouldn't be a problem running any brand of turnbuckle style tiedowns on the TORKLIFT frame mounts.
