Not aimed at anyone n particular but the rational concerning weights sometimes baffles me . So if you put G rated 19.5 wheels and tires on your 1500 series truck you are good for 16000# gvw , wow .
I don’t think anyone says that. First, it does nothing for the GVWR. I think that’s what you meant not GVW.
Many SRW rear axles are rated at over 9000 lbs which you’ll never hit with stock tires. Adding F/G rated 19.5s on can bring your tires up to that rating assuming they are aired at the correct inflation which will in effect give you room on the rear axle weight but also won’t raise the RAWR because that’s a number the manufacturer controls as well.
I respectfully disagree , I think many on here think just that way . They address a know weak link , mainly tires because they are easy , and forget the rest of the suspension like wheels and brakes and bearings . From the number of post on spring helpers it seems stock springs are not up to task . I did mean GVW since so many ignore GVWR . It’s not that it can’t be done and be ok but all the elements need to be addressed . - spectaExplorer

You can get the F450 pickup with a regular cab now.
Better looking nose too :B

The new Chevrolets are by far the ugliest of them all.
If I did buy a new truck I'm sure it would be another GM. My current truck has been the most trouble free vehicle that I have ever owned and its only my third GM product.
Its even more comfortable, ergonomically to sit in and drive than my Lincoln Town Car. It just doesn't ride as nice. - spectaExplorer

Actually a GMC 3500 regular cab would be great but until then, I'm happy with my little old 2500. ;)
That thing needs a nose job. LOL
Do they even still MAKE regular cabs...?
You must know someone ;)
