A brake / clutch relining shop should be able to hook you up either way.

Thanks , but I was looking to replace just the friction material inside the friction sway control bar.. They are similar to a disc brake shoe. Does anyone know of any online supplier. No one around here has them..
  • Are you talking about a friction sway bar for the hitch or new brake pads doe the trailer brakes?

If your talking about a friction sway control...just go with a new one for about $30.00 at Harbor Freight....if brake shoes, go with the advice above....replace the entire assembly.

    Thanks!

  • Most any trailer supply house will have them. But most folks change out the whole backing plate brake assembly. It will usually include the backing plates, wire connectors, brake shoes and magnets for around $70-$80 per wheel. I just replaced all of mine for $72.00 per wheel from Camping World for Lippert forward adjusting brakes.
