I would cut the the verticals portio of the pipe about a foot above the elbow. This will allow the to to come out of the ceiling. Then cut the elbow as close to the pan as possible. This would allow the pan to come up easy. The remaining pipe is probably threaded in the tank and can be backed out. Flange for the toilet is also probably threaded in. When reassembling, use new fittings and pieces of pipe to fill in as needed in reverse order. Use a rubber coupler(hubless connector) to connect to the vertical going to the ceiling to reconnect. ( put it all the way on one side then along the pipe and slide so seam is in the middle then tighten clamps) PVC pipe and fittings are cheap and east to get. This is what I did when I took out my bathroom for a total floor replacement, except my pipe was ABS (black plastic).
