Yep, that's the way I did mine.
Jerry - Gonzo42ExplorerI made two tools: First a wax applicator, then a polishing tool out of repurposed broom handles. This is after reaching down from the roof and up from the ground.
The alternative would be scaffolding, but that presents several problems just in itself. - myredracerExplorer III waxed our front cap today which has a very pronounced curve to it and the top is probably around 11' above the ground. I used an 8' extension ladder and wrapped an old sleeping bag around the top. If using a ladder like this, you need to have a steep angle so that you aren't pressing very much against the cap because they aren't very strong and you don't want to damage it. A helper holding on to the ladder would be a good idea.
- steve-n-vickiExplorerI used a Swiffer sweeper with a microfiber cloth with meguires wash and wax on it , then I replace the wax cloth with a dry microfiber and buffed it to a high gloss
- FLGupExplorerFunny this topic came up. I waxed our RV today too. It has the curved front and I found a long handled brush with a rag tied over the brush head worked great. For the application of wax to that top center area, I used a spray on wax. I prefer the paste wax everywhere I can reach, but a spray helped for this curved top area.
- TucsonJimExplorer III use a cleaning brush with a long handle. I cover the head with a terry cloth and use it to apply the wax. Then I use another terry cloth to remove it.
- micpib1ExplorerI just got my wife to do ours, it worked out ok for me. JH :)

I do something similar with either a 6 or 8' step ladder unopened with a heavy blanket draped over the top and then lay the ladder against the front so I can get closer to the middle to wax/wash it.
Larry - campiglooExplorerI use a 10' step ladder. One half the front it straddles the tongue. The other half is backed up to the tongue and I just reach over a little. Very safe and nothing leaning on the coach.
