This is just a thought, and perhaps not a relevant one to the conditions of the road, wind, wind direction and speed, and the trucks speed...but......If there had been a much stronger frame and/or bed anchoring system that can take that kind of force, would have it been worse if the chains had not given way and taken the whole truck with it in a blow over?
