I just winterized and have a question.

Depends on what RV you have. How many sinks, showers, etc that need p-traps filled, how much you put 'in' the toilet bowl, etc. I use 4 gallons.
The gauge for me is that the antifreeze should run 'dark' pink out of the faucets etc.

Negative on the black tank flush.

Do you have a black tank flush system...if so probably a good idea to blow any water out of that too.

That's why I pour the antifreeze into the fresh tank and pump it thru out the RV that covers everything. That takes care of water in bottom of tank below hose AND fills the water pump with antifreeze.

I even let it run thru the hot water tank. THEN drain. That way there is antifreeze in the bottom part that does not drain out. And no none of this leaves a taste in the lines.

You mentioned your hot water tank is leaking.It shouldn't be. Maybe cross threaded plug? Easy to do with those darn plastic plugs.

I always keep a couple extra of those darn plastic plugs on board. Especially if you are in an area where you have to winterize. They are in the most difficult place to get a wrench on and They get pulled in and out more than IMHO they are designed for. Thanks for the replies. I drained the fresh tank but I don't remember if I ran AF through the line from the pump to the tank. I will check on this later today before it gets cold.

Did you drain the fresh water tank? Did you drain, blow out, pump dry or put anti-freeze in the line from the tank to the pump?

A bit depends on where the drip came from. On one of my previous rigs, the hot water outlet check valve was frozen open, so when I put antifreeze in, it just poured into the hot water tank and out the anode hole.

Yours might be dripping from there, but not frozen quite so open, just not closing as well as it should. It's a small part at the store, and you should possibly change it out when you de-winterize in the spring.

One you didn't mention was the black tank wash line. Sometimes I have heard people empty a hose, then fill it with pink. Then they connect the hose to the wash line input and the outside tap, and run the hose water for a very brief time into the line. The antifreeze in the hose will go into the rig and protect the line.

I see you run anti freeze thru the toilet. I forgot to do this once - won't make that mistake again.

I'm not sure if this is important,since I don't use the antifreeze. I only blow the water out and put pink in the drains. My water heater won't drain with the rest of the fresh water tank. I take the plug out, open the pressure relief valve and drain the water heater tank. FWIW
