Issue with Jensen DVD player and speakers
Our TT has the flip around tv for the bedroom. If we put a DVD in he Jensen stereo system and turn the tv towards our bedroom all the sound is in the main part of the camper and we can not hear anyt...

As an FYI... the Jensen stereo was wired incorrectly. I was *NEVER* able to play the sound through the TV. When I removed the stereo, I found that they had hooked the TV up to the INPUT on the Jensen, not the OUTPUT.
It should have been hook to the input of the Jensen so that way when you are watching TV (not a DVD) you can listen to the sound through the speakers of the Jensen.
On our TV & Jensen Jayco hooked the Jensen to the TV through the headphone jack. I started to change this and then I understood why they did it. A.) that will automatically cut the sound to the TV speakers so you don't have sounds coming from both just a bit out of sync B.) Most TVs have fixed audio levels on their RCA output jacks. By hooking it to the headphone jacks you can set the Jensen volume to a "medium" level and control the up and down volume by adjusting the volume of the TV. That way you only have to have 1 remote. Granted, doing it this way isn't right when like in our case the TV can be flipped around to the bedroom. Then you just pop the cable out of the headphone jack and use the TV speakers as normal.
Woud I be able to see the headphone jack or does the Jensen need to be pulled out to get to it ?
The headphone jack is on the TV and goes to a "normal" RCA input on the Jensen.
