colliehauler: Thanks for your suggestion. We would love to replace the whole couch with a new one or better yet, with two recliners, but alas,the hot water heater and 30 amp cord is under the couch. The couch must also fold out like a futon or sofa bed to allow the rear slide to clear it when it is in the travel mode.

Opie431: Thanks to you also. We don't know anyone as we constantly travel, and do it yourself is out. The ironic thing is that humans are often very skilled in one area, but sorely lacking in others. In our case, my wife an I built our own house, but neither one of us can hem a pair of pants or even sew on a button!

Do you know anyone with some sewing skills? It does not take much skill or work to make a cover for a Jackknife sofa.

I bought a 2005 Wildwood used and the sofa was worn. It was less money to buy a used leather loveseat off Craigslist then slip covers. Some times you can find rv dealers on Ebay that take out the dinette to put in a table and chairs and sell them in new condition. You could look on Ebay or Amaizon for loveseat slip cover that should work.
