Jensen AWM 970 - remote control doesn't work

Have a Jensen combo TV/CD/DVD/Radio (AWM970) set up in our Tamarack - the remote control doesn't work, and we have to use the wall unit Tune/Track in order to forward/reverse a DVD, etc.

Have replaced all the batteries with new - that is not the answer.

Neither one of the remotes work, one is for the TV, and the other one is for the AWM970 wall control unit.

I am sure I have not worded this correctly, but hope you all get the idea of what our problem is. Just tired of wanting to play a DVD and have to use the wall "buttons" and not the remote control.

Any "helps" or if you have experienced this also and what you did - would be appreciated.

    Have you tried a universal remote to see if it works. That is a pretty common unit in late model RV's, maybe check with some other RVers to see if you can borrow their remote. The remote for that unit is the small type with the bubble buttons. They can go bad. I had no problem programming a universal remote that I use most of the time. If you have a jensen TV, chances are the remote for that will also control the DVD combo, it does mine.
