Just sayin hello with my '68 Scotty
Hi, New to the forum.
My two "waiting in the wings" campers are a ten foot '78 Playmor that has rounded edges and you would never guess that it was not a '60 model. I am going to rebuild it with my little sister as a brother sister project because she loves vintage campers too. I also have "waiting in the wings" a '74 Prowler which is also a ten footer rebuild project that I am going to do the interior in weathered cedar with a queen size bed and a big RV shower that I pulled from a motor home for my guest house as well as being a fully functional and towable camper.
The camper that I camp in is a '68 Scotty. It's got a bare aluminum exterior and I bought it with the interior already all blue which was a bit overpowering but it calmed down a bit when I added the wood dinette table, cabinet doors and the "boudoir" wall to separate the bed. I camp at least once almost every month of the year except for Jan, Feb, July and August because of heat and cold. sometimes I'll camp in January because this is Texas so winter is always iffy. I am super happy with it and next on my list is a small hot water heater.
