keys
I lost my keys for my heartland prowler 20rbs I was wondering if the keys are a generic key any camper key would work.

- The keys have been different (not generic) on mine. But the compartment/storage keys are pretty much the same.
- Ask a locksmith to re-key the lock for you.
Often, the paddle (handle) portion is a universal key and the dead bolt is a keyed cylinder with a specific key.
or...replace the lock if its the cheaper option. - looking for the door key are they generic or do I just need to check with the dealer.
- Depending on the manufacturer of the trailer, they may use the same blank. I have a Coleman, and I also have a 6x12 enclosed Duracraft, built by Forest River. They both have the same key blank. Square head, multiple grooves, can be inserted in either direction. I get them mixed up all the time. My horse trailer however has a key with a round head, and the latch is slightly different.
