Keystone Bullet Premier

We are seriously looking at buying a 31BHPR. It pretty much has everything we are looking for in a TT, the only cons we can think of with it is, it has curtains instead of solid doors for the bedroom and bunkhouse....that's about it.

Maybe because this one is so new, But i'm having a hard time finding any reviews or testimonials about them.

This is our first TT, i've rented a couple times and that makes us realize we want our own, we've been researching for months and have narrowed it down to this one.

Is there anyone out there that has any experience with the Bullet line that can give me their opinions?

accumulating defect?? Now thats a scary statement... I will check mine every trip.. Glad you were able to get it repaired and make it back safe.

I had wondered about that, but I use the equalizer brand hitch setup and I followed their instructions in the manual. The shop that I got it repaired at actually said that the steel is so thin that he can not even purchase that thin steel himself. He said that it was 100/1000th or less and he put on 188/1000. So almost double the strength. (Not sure if it's accurate, just what he told me)

Possibly the torsion bars to tight? I just can imagine unless they were cracked that out of the blue with it not overloaded it would just bend like that. That is some thick steel.

coobrey that was some experience! I'll have to make sure we do a good check on ours also just in case. I hope everyone was safe and what a blessing to find someone to make repairs quickly.

I bought some that we're very very 'close' at Home Depot, then swapped out all the ones in the bathroom for the hd ones. I needed 4 though. Unless you are looking very closely you don't know the difference as the had ones are in the separate room.

We're also thinking about going there and doing there. I'll just change out in the bedroom area or bath maybe. Just need one so those areas aren't noticeable at all, probably need four or so. One day we noticed one was bent. Been like that from the start! Thanks for the response.

Funny thing is we didn't have much at all loaded in the front of the trailer. It wasn't even full of water (tank is under bed in front of trailer). Black and grey water were empty. The trailer wasn't even close to carrying capacity. The tongue frame actually bent. The welds held, but the tubes crushed and bent like that. I had to switch over the shank to get it to ride higher while we crept onto the next town.

They replaced the tongue tubes with almost double the thickness and put back the battery carrier, propane holders, coupler (silver so I'll have to get it painted), etc. It isn't quite factory, but for a weld shop in a small town they did a great job.

The owner of the shop said that he is seeing this more as the trailers are getting lighter and lighter.

My insurance denied the claim as they said that it was an accumulating defect and I am waiting to hear from Keystone.

Just got home from our tour down to Skagway, AK, up to Dawson City in the Yukon Territory, then back home. Well, between Beaver, YT and Whitehorse, YT the roads are known for being bad, but this is what happened to our 2013 31bhpr. We had to drive almost 200mi with these conditions (about 3 inches of clearance) in the early morning hours to get to a shop in Whitehorse that could fix it.

It was nothing really jarring either that caused this. We were going 35mph, or slower, over the bumps and didn't spill any coffee, soda, etc. in the tow vehicle cab. It was a huge surprise to us!
