Kitchen Counters

The laminate is starting to come off in a few areas. One of the fit-n-finish issues I have with my trailer. I'm thinking of taking the counter out at the end of the season and use it as a template for a new counter.

Has anyone ever replaced the laminated counters with a solid surface material like Corian?
