- RBLExplorerIt is a cheap plastic faucet that was leaking under the base onto the couter top. I removed the handles finding all nylon or plastic parts which did not look repairable as my house faucets are. I did replace the 0 ring on goose neck with negative results. Have now removed the faucet which I believe is Utopia RV faucet. Purchased a regular 2 handle faucet from Canadian Tire with lifetime warranty on sale 50% off for $22.00 which I have installed with no changes in supply lines and is working great.
Your initial suggestion of just replacing with regular house faucet even though this might be covered under warranty was a great idea as we are trying to get going on a trip to the east coast of Canada.
Thank you - westendExplorerI'd recommend a Delta or American Standard as a replacement. They usually have a lifetime warranty and will withstand a lot of bad water flowing through. Their connectors seem to be a cut above other brands as well.
Depending on construction, some faucets can be repaired with a washer or cartridge replacement. You would need to know which brand you have and if the Mfg. offers replacement parts or if generic parts will fit.
FWIW, my old Starcraft has the brass stem valves with rubber sealing washers and I chose to clean and rebuild them. The faucets get such little use that the sealing seats should never wear out and replacing the washers is an easy task. Some things should never been improved upon. - wmosesExplorer

Too true.
I have long given up wasting time responding to posters who provide questions that are so short on details that we all waste time talking amongst ourselves only to find that we are barking up the wrong tree if/when the OP comes back. But that is just me. - nomad297ExplorerThe standard for kitchen faucets is an 8" spread. This is from the center of the (1-1/4") cold hole to the center of the hot hole. Most standard faucet drillings consist of three 1-1/4" holes, four inches apart from the center.
Bruce - dadmomhExplorerNot sure I'm understanding this....is the faucet actually mounted on the surface of the countertop or on the sink itself, which is mounted on the countertop? In any event.....just replace the thing with a decent quality faucet from whatever store you want.
In our '07 ROO we were camping and on a Saturday morning when I turned the faucet on, it literally blew apart...not a fun time, but thankful DH and DF were standing outside when I yelled to turn off the water. The only "box" that was available for miles and miles was a little Mom and Pop hardware store. They had a few to choose from and DH came back with a REALLY nice faucet, installed it and we pressed on with our weekend.
Just a few days after taking delivery of our '13 TT the kitchen faucet started dripping. DH can and does fix most everything, but no amount of tweaking and tightening and adjusting stopped that dripping. We could have turned it in under warranty, but we'd have received the same el-cheapo faucet to replace the leaking one. We just went ahead and bought a new better quality faucet and put it in and we're done with it. RV OEM faucets are not known to be top of the line and IMHO, sooner or later you're going to have to replace it, so if you can do it now, just go ahead.
Re the holes for the faucet...to the best of my knowledge all faucets have a standard measurement for the holes. If there are holes drilled into the countertop, suggest you measure them to be sure, but the plate that fits onto the bottom of the faucet should cover any adjustment you might have to make. Is this a newer TT? Just don't recall noticing any with the holes drilled into the countertop when they're already right there in the sink. Confusion. - tenbearExplorer

Leaking on counter top. Repair or replace and how?
Who knows?
I suggest with a more informative input of more than 9 words you might get a useful answer. ;)

Investopedia explains 'Big Box Retailer'
The term "big-box" is derived from the store's physical appearance. Located in large-scale buildings of more than 50,000 square feet, the store is usually plainly designed and often resembles a large box. Wal-mart, Best Buy and Ikea are examples of big-box retailers.
Yes. I know, I know.
Bruce - RobWNYExplorerOur camper came with those really cheap all plastic faucets. One of the first things I did was go to Home Depot and picked out two nice faucets. Both the kitchen and bathroom faucets fit perfectly. I paid about $140 but I didn't buy the least expensive models either. The hardest part of the install was getting under the counters to install them. Unless you have the body of Olive Oil, I would suggest having someone that is very thin with narrow shoulders to help.
