Lacrosse or Sprinter?

Looking at the Lacrosse 327RES and the Sprinter 300 KBS or 299 RET. Any feedback on either of these companies? Anybody know anything about these three trailers?

Don't know much about the lacrosse (but it sure looks pretty!).

We have the Sprinter 300KBS 2009, and we LOVE it!! It was our first foray into TT land and we have zero regrets. Other than the microwave zapping out in the second year, we've had no issues at all.

The front kitchen is glorious with all it's counter space, cupboard space, and functionality - couldn't ask for a better set up.

The huge king bedroom is really well thought out, and has plenty of storage space for lengthy trips, as well as the vacuum cleaner and other supplies I like to keep indoors. The extra door is great for when we have overnight guests, allowing them to truly have their privacy as we have ours too.

The bathroom is clever too, again allowing for private access from either the bedroom or the living area for when we have overnight guests - plus I really like the private "loo room". ๐Ÿ™‚

The fact that pretty much every space can be fully accessed even when travelling and the slides are retracted is pretty handy - had to park it at Walmart overnight once, and they didn't want us extending slides - no worries... EVERYTHING could be accessed... bed, fridge, stove, bathroom. ๐Ÿ˜‰

As you can tell, I'm a fan of the 300KBS... the things I would want changed are things that have been adapted in the newer versions, including more lino from the entrance to the kitchen, and the enclosed propane tank area at the front.

If knew how to post pics of mine, I could show you the decor... it's very tasteful and not that "cheapo barn look" ๐Ÿ™‚

Regardless of which brand and model you go with, you're likely to find people who are pro or con, so keep researching and eventually go with the one that appeals most to you. Good luck and happy camping!

just got a Lacrosse 327 and love it. The couch is small but good for one person. Tows very well and even though it has only one storage area it is larger than it looks. Only 4 electric outlets in living room and kitchen.

We have a 2006 Sprinter 300FKBS and love it, buying it new in 2006. We have had no problems with it and I love the front kitchen as it has more counter space and at least you aren't looking at the kitchen when you are watching TV at night. They changed the bathroom and bedroom set up a little on the newer ones, but I like ours as we have 2 nice big windows in the bedroom. Plus I don't mind the smaller bathroom/shower. We also have the aluminum siding and right now my DH and trailer are on their way to Crede, CO as we are setting up in a new RV Park for the summer. He will come back and get me and the motorcycle then. The trailer still looks brand new and so far, nothing has gone wrong with it. No leaks, all appliances work well and it tows beautifully. I can hardly wait to get gone for awhile.

The 2013 Lacrosse Touring Edition Model 327RES has NO exterior access door on the curb side of the trailer.
Even their Rep. said it was a bad decision to remove the second door on the 2013 models.

Have to agree with above post. Our Lacrosse has had just minor issues like most, but all have been addressed promptly and to our satisfaction by the dealer and Prime TIme. Our storage area as well has access at both sides and easy to get gear in and out of. I would definitely look at another Prime Time unit if and when we decide to trade. I am extremely happy with our choice.

I can't speak for Sprinter but Lacrosse customer service has been fantastic. I had a couple minor issues and they shipped the parts to me so I didn't have to drive all the way to the dealer. Not sure what plan the gentlemen above is referencing too but my trailer has exterior access to front storage on both sides. I thought they all did because of the way all the hookups are on one panel inside the storage. I would recommend Lacrosse to anyone from my experience.

love our Sprinter so far! There are a few different interior options if you don't like the rustic cabin look. Wasn't my DW's favorite interior option either. We went with the Seascape interior with the traditional oak cabinetry.

We have a Sprinter, different model though. We love it. I can tell you that as far as the companies go they are all pretty much the same. Your experience with the company depends more on the quality of the dealer you have to go through in my experience.

I have no experience with Lacrosse. We have a Sprinter and we love it. Had it a year now with very few minor problems...none that had anything to do with Sprinter. We had a lightweight before this one and I think the heavier trailer pulls better and is definitely more solid. Good luck with your search.

Between the two they are very similar in terms of build. We looked at the Sprinter and couldn't stomach the hand-hammered style hardware and chain-whipped cabinet finish (bad barn board look). For that reason alone we walked over to Jayco.

If you go with the Lacrosse be aware of some limitations.
There's only one access exterior door to the front storage area. May have problems reaching stored materials.
The Lane sofa couch is only 65 inches long so only a 5' 5" person can sleep on it.
Friend has one and a screw was loose on the kitchen slide out and ruined the carpet(tore it). Lacrosse wouldn't do a thing for him. And his electric stabilizers have been replaced twice (now on his 3rd set).
Just thought you may like to know.
Good luck,
