- gilligansail123ExplorerThank you.
- AnEv942Nomadon the Lance web site you can download manuals that have the wiring diagrams- linked top of the TCU thread sticky
- gilligansail123ExplorerYes I just called Lance and got the run around.
- greennoExplorerHave you tried contacting Lance directly?
Different years have different wiring diagrams for new options etc.
I have a 2019 AF990 camper and I called the manufacturer and spoke to the manager of their service department and he e-mailed me the build wiring drawings for my model and year. Everything that I could verify checked out correctly which was nice to know.
I have done quite a few add-on's to my rig as well as changing over to Lithium from lead/acid and replaced my charger as well as added a dc-dc charger from the truck power source.
Call Lance there here in Cali. - Supercharged111ExplorerAhh, I also would like to add an inverter, but I was thinking I'd splice it in with an interconnect or whatever it's called, the thing that chooses the source of input power. Like how if the onboard generator is running, the camper will pull from there instead of shore power. I recently bought an RV type charger for my cargo trailer and it claims to install at the fuse area, so I'd check there first. Not sure where that power switch is though.
- gilligansail123ExplorerHI supercharged111, I'm looking for a wiring diagram because I want to change from lead acid to lithium batteries in order to do that I will have to change the charge controllers.
I also want to add an inverter so I can use 110v without running my generator or being plugged in. In order to do that I will have to change the charge controllers, and incorporate the an inverter into the system. I will be adding the 110v outlets to the inverter circuit as well as the shore power and generator.
So actually its more than just adding batteries.
Thanks Gilligan - Supercharged111ExplorerI'm curious to see what folks post here, but also curious why you need a schematic to change batteries? Typically schematics don't list component locations if you're looking for a junction box or something to tie off of. I plan to add a couple batteries in the back of my truck and attach with something like an Anderson Powerpole connector. I figure I'll probably end up running my own wire for that.
