Wiring Diagram/Schematics

Any ideas of where to start looking for wiring diagrams for my 1999 36' Holiday Rambler Endeavor, Gasoline? Got a few little electrical gremlins that I need to chase down. I've got some pretty complete documentation books and files that came with the coach, but no chassis blueprints or plans that I can refer to. Any help pointing me in the right direction would be most appreciated!!

Yep...definitely 12VDC fixtures. Found that I had voltage to the fixture, but nothing past that point. I found the Thin Lite fixtures on PPL for about $44/ea and ordered 2 of them to replace the faulty ones. I guess I must have caused enough of a surge to fry the ballasts in those two fixtures when I changed out the house battery. I didn't think about turning them off before changing it. Lesson learned....... fortunately it was ONLY two light fixtures!!

Thanks! I was afraid that would be the case. Got some fluorescent overhead lights that are giving me trouble. I'm assuming that they are on the 120V AC circuit, but can't isolate that just yet. I've replaced the bulbs, but no light. May be the ballasts in them. Guess I'll have to pull the fixtures and check them out individually.

    10forty2,
If I'm not mistaken, about 99.999% of the florescent lights in almost all coaches are 12V. At least that's been the case in all four coaches we've owned. There may be a 12V fuse out someplace, might be worth a look.

The question you're asking about getting schematics for your coach, this is why I'm kind-a glad we purchased an Itasca/Winnebago product. We can get, just for the asking, any wiring schematic, wiring installation pictures (shows drawings) of where anything and everything electrical was put on those coaches. I'm not condemning you for purchasing the coach/brand you did, just saying it's possible you may go to a forum that specializes in your coach/brand/model/year and find out more. Good luck.

  • If the manufacturer is still in business a call to them could get you the schematics e-mailed to you. Possibly for a charge. I got a complete set of electrical and video cable schematics from Coachman for my coach for $25.00. Invaluable.

  • If you can find a used manual on E-Bay go for it. Next would be a Motors or Chilton manual for you engine. Very little help is out there for wiring on the coach. A signal tracer could help if you are trying to find where a wire comes out in the coach.
  • Call the Monaco customer service number and ask them if they still have them. Up till the time ASV bought them out, they would send you a CD with all the electrical and plumbing schematics for your coach. Do not know if ASV is continuing the service.
