lance camper porpoising and tires cupping
I have a lance squire lite extended cabover on a 2003 ford F250 SuperDuty, 4x4 Short Bed, Crew Cab. i replaced the shocks when i got the camper with rancho 9000 XL adjustable shocks. I am not sure they were ever the best choice. I am considering bilstein. i have airbags, but generally run them below 10 psi. I do not have the lance cabover struts. I am having porpoising that really strains my neck with the jerking. I have cupping on the outside of the front tires ,i am blaming the shocks. I need tires, so i will get the alignment checked when I get tires. I am looking for suggestions from others that have a similar setup and that have had success (or failures) with similar equipment. Also, I am needing to replace the tie-downs, the springs are shot in the old equipment so I plan on buying a whole new correct torklift setup. I currently have 18" rims with Toyo open country tires, and I'm considering running a tire that is more of a highway tread.
