Leaking Window

I've got a leaking window that I finally narrowed down to the foam weather stripping. It's on my "escape" window that opens out. Its definitely not the butyl tape, but the foam weather stripping has lost its sticky towards the top and water gets in during a hard rain. It is a Kinro window, and after trying to call them and getting lost in their phone menu, I thought this would be a better place to get results. Does anyone know of a site on the web where I could get weatherstripping for a Kinro window?
  • Why not go to the website http://www.kinro.com/

Go to RV windows in the support tab. If this is window with a frame. Just unscrew all the screws inside. Pull the window out. Scrape all the old butyl tape off. Clean good with a quality adhesive cleaner. Reapply butyl tape. Reinstall window. Apply thin bead of silicone caulk around top and sides. Im not real familiar with the frameless windows. Other than we get lots of complaints about them leaking, rattling, opening while driving
  • I did look at that site before and it was no help. It's definitely not the butyl seal. I can see where the water comes in, and it's right where the foam weatherstripping has lost some adhesive. I may have to try calling again and see if I can get a human.
