GM and RAM have many models with that kind of payload, they call theirs 2500's. Ford insists on winning the name game. I wish one of the others would rebadge a 1000 to show how silly that ploy really is. :) Hi, I'm very close to buying a new F-150 and you are right about not finding any "Properly Equipped" on the lot. I need Max Trailer Tow Package for the towing mirrors and enough payload to handle my trailer and things. The dealer has to trade with another Ford dealer out of state to get one.
