Currently in my TT I have one of those 3-4" fans in the vent in my bathroom. I would like to upgrade it to a full sized fantastic fan or create a breeze style vent. Do they make one of those that I can insert into the vent that is currently there so I don't have to replace all the vent set up on the roof and have to re-seal it? If so could you provide me some links to sites that offer what I am looking for? Thanks.

I replace the fan in the main area of my 5th whl. You know the area you can't reach. Put in the Maxi with the remote. It's the best improvement I could have done. It's not a big deal to reseal the roof if you get the proper sealant.

Tried different fuses and still no go so I just put the fan up as is out of the box without the PWM and it works great so there is the problem. I'm going to replace it with a Fantastic Vent next Spring anyway so this will work fine for now.

Thank you guys for the assistance. I always learn a lot from this forum.

It doesn't matter which way you connect the wires. Reversing the colors just reverses the fan direction.

Black is supposed to be (+) that doesn't mean yours is wired correctly...never assume anything when working on a TT....LOL....

The fan does turn freely by hand. I will try the 10 amp fuse and check the wiring. I thought black was always positive in a TT but that is not always the case?

It worked OK when you bench tested it with the wall wart, so the issue may be in the installation. Use a test light or meter to confirm which wire coming out of the ceiling is (+). Replace the fuse and try again.

Does the fan spin freely when turned by hand?
Reconnect the fan direct using a 10 amp fuse. If all is well, the PWM may not be rated high enough or is faulty.
