No fuel cap?
Not sure what Ram was thinking with not having a fuel cap for diesel fuel, especially at a time when engines are more sensitive to water and dirt contaminates. It would be nice to even have a locking ...

I wonder if there is a safety aspect for everyone ,to prevent fumes leaking when filling up?
Probably, I am getting tired of the 6 o'clock news filled up with people blowing themselves up. :)
