I've changed several of the converters over the years. I would personally only change the converter at the bottom section. Would require only a few wire changes. But you can change the whole power center.
There are several good converters that are multistage charging which will protect the battery better. I like the Progressive Dynamics PD9100 with the charge wizard. It has maintained two 122Ah lead acid batteries for 12 years. Batteries are just a little weak now. But that fantastic for lead acid walmart batteries.
If you have a location it will fit somewhere, all required is to run a bit of wiring to get it back working.
Good luck.

Stircrazy,
Ok you wrote, "ya that might work, won't have any 12V power aside from what the battery will do itself so keep in mind depending how your battery is you 12V may or may not work of sort of work.". My 12V is practically brand new. So? see if it all works after I disconnect the converter/charger breaker, and don't use shore power to test it? Sorry for the dumb question, I don't know anything about this, but you guys are good mentors..
Bruce
once you turn off your converter breaker all you will have is what your battery will supply on its own and your 120v shore power, so I was just more or less letting you know to watch your battery isn't in a low state and if it is either charge it or don't use 12V power much while you're playing with the 120V. You're going to have to use 120 to test it otherwise how will you know if that's your problem?
When you have been trying to find the issue, does your shore power trip as soon as you turn it on? If so, I would turn the converter breaker off before you turn the show power on.
