Noisy fan on range hood
Our 2002 Northern Lite 10-2 CD has a range-hood fan that is loud. Have you replaced yours with a less-noisy one? What did you use and is it satisfactory?

I agree that a flapping vent likely has a broken hinge. Mine broke while latched.
Here's what I did to latch the vent from the inside (2nd half of the post):
