Pine Sap

Question

Camped under Pine trees for two weeks.Any great ideas for removing Sap from the canvas?Most sap and tar removers will ruin the canvas.I am thinking citric based , perhaps.

I have been told and have read that baby wipes really work good on tree sap.
Supposedly classic car guys with expensive paint jobs swear by them.

No direct experience just passing on a tip: maybe an urban myth like dryer sheets and mice....????

Bug and tar remover by turtle wax. Comes in a spray bottle. You can also try a magic eraser..Bill

Thanks folks.I will try the baby wipes.The father-in-law has several Ford Model A's. One is a rag top.His advice. " Look up first, then park ".
