I have a 2004 Fleetwood Pioneer and I am wondering if the power converter being bad would affect the hot water heater? No hot water even when plugged into power from the pole

Accordingly to a spec sheet it is a DSI gas water heater so begin there to listen for a clicking sound when it attempts to light. No clicking then check power to the control module.
