samson, I probably missed the details, but is it crewcab / extended cab / regular cab? 8ft or short bed? 4wd or 2wd?
Last few vehicles I bought from dealers (used and new), I did some basic research on the internet to get an idea of prices for different option levels.
Remember, those internet prices from Edmunds True Value, Kelly Blue Book, etc are from the DEALERS, and they are very aware of the information available on those sites.
I emailed a few dealers / salespeople, and only a couple got back to me - one of whom I bought my truck from. In talking with people, it seems there are still car salesmen out there who do everything they can to get you into the showroom to work out the deal, they virtually refuse to use the internet. It is changing, but their loss when they stick to the "old fashioned" way of sales.
