Question on Aliner Classic dimensions

Hi all,
Looking at the replacing my trailer with an Aliner Classic. One of the main reasons is that I can store it in a garage.I have a couple questions though on dimensions. Websites say the total length is 15'. Does this include the spare tire? Also, the width is listed at 78". Does this include the a/c?
Thanks for any help and also if anybody has any thoughts on Aliner dormers it would be appreciated.
  • The total length of a Classic is as mentioned above - 15 feet from coupler to bumper (12 foot box). I agree to add another foot to include a rear mounted spare. Some have moved the spare to the tongue to reduce length (as long as your tow vehicle can handle the extra tongue weight).

I don't believe that the width includes the side a/c. We've had a Classic in the past and now own a Ranger 15. When booking a camp site, use the total length, not the box length.

Both of our campers fit into our standard-sized garage - the Ranger 15, just barely. The Classic was fine.
  • My classic, which I sold recently, was 15 ft. from front of ball to far rear of bumper. I would add an additional 1 ft. for the traditional clamp-on mount. I have seen some Aliners with the spare tire mounted to the hitch a-frame. This of course would add to the hitch weight. On my present hybrid camper, I modified the rear spare tire mount to reduce the amount of stick out beyond the bumper by several inches - Perhaps you can do the same.
