- goducks10ExplorerWow. Ford spanked em all.
- Bionic_ManExplorerSurprised they would put the Titan in that class.
- Turtle_n_PeepsExplorerAnd this would be the reason that I recommend a Ford or a Ram in a gas engine truck. It would not be the same if we were talking diesel. :B
- BedlamModeratorI drove the chassis cab version 6.4 V8 verses the 6.8 V10 and thought the 6.4 was under powered but never tried any of the gassers in a pickup tune. With performance like shown, it makes me wonder why Ford hangs on the V10 and has not used their 6.2 V8 in the chassis cabs.
- LwiddisExplorer IIIB, either you or someone else has sent these independent comparisons out before and I find them interesting.

One word: Duty Cycle. (oops, I guess that was two words) You can hold a V10 WOT for months at a time and it will hang together. The 6.2, not so much. Same way with the 6.0 and 6.2 Chevy. - LIKE2BUILDExplorer

The Titan XD is the new truck Nissan is promoting as a 3/4 with a 5.0L Cummins V8 engine option. Obviously they also offer the 5.7L gas engine.

Hardly a spanking. The Ram was right there with the Ford and ahead in a few spots. The only place it suffered was in mileage.
Either way they all did pretty good! - transamz9Explorer

Yeah, I agree. Ford spanked them in fuel mileage but the way I read it the Ford got a better launch hence the 0-60 time but Ram was running him down at the quarter. Driver error or torque management, who's to say but who would have thought we would ever see full size trucks running 14's off the show room floor. LOL - ib516Explorer III think the Ford's trans ratios are the advantage.
