  • Thanks. It doesn't look like KZ does many rear slides any more and the ones they do are heavy. Everything is 30 foot plus and well over 6000#.

    Any other ideas?

    Thanks again.
  • It was a 2005 KZ Frontier (called outdoorsman in canada)2505 QB something. think the dry was 5600. anyways ,the 1500.s I had towed great.
  • Which KZ did you have? After a quick search it appears the floodplan has gained some weight.
  • Our neighbors have a bunk house floor plan the way you want it is a 2013 model. "Rockwood windjammer" I think is the name of it... NICE UNIT! Our Dutchmen Denali 311bhs is set up just opposite to your request but has a bigger outdoor kitchen and the fold down bike rack is a plus for us.
  • the kz was 5600 dry , plus 1000 of junk and propane and batteries., so probably 72-7500 with bikes out back. Pulled with avalanche , 1500 chev ,07 tahoe with 3.73 axle, and 2500 diesel . all pulled it ok.
  • Thanks. I'll look. I'm trying to do the math on how much my 2009 Silverado can tow. I think I need to keep the gross weight below 7,500. Most of these type models push 8000+.
  • I just sold my rear slide with 4 bunks up front. Loved it. It waa a KZ Outdoorsman (Frontier in US). It was a 2005 and the bike rack slid out with the slide so no need to take bikes off when putting slide out.
