I searched different sources to see what similar models to mine were selling for, then I priced mine based on that research and the condition mine was in. I also gave it a thorough cleaning and wax job. I cleaned the roof and had the seams re-caulked - noted this in my ad along with a picture of the roof. It helped that I was able to demonstrate all systems since it was in my driveway, plugged in to 30 amps. So yes, you will get idiots that you'll see a mile away - better to put up with that than to take a bath on it trading it in. My dealer quoted 4k on trade in - I was selling for 10k.
....and get ready for all the bogus calls from scammers and dealers telling you, "they have a buyer for your trailer".
Not saying don't do Craigslist, RV Trader, etc, you will eventually sell your rig with them, just be ready for the BS. Dealers scour both sources daily
