Plans are to repaint the cabinets, make new kitchenette cushions, replace the flooring, put in new blinds and curtains, put in new mattresses, etc. This will probably take about 9 months to do since I have to stop for winter because it's pretty much impossible to work outside during winter in Canada. Here's what I've started with so far...Anti-fatigue mats for under the mattresses:Fabrics for the kitchenette cushions. The foam in the cushions is in excellent condition so I'm just going to steam clean them and re-use the foam:Double-sized 3" memory foam mattress for our bed (has to be cut down to size but only by a little):Double-sized 2.5" convoluted foam topper for the guest bed (has to be cut down to size but only by a little):I need to order new snap carriers (the things that the d r a p e s' snap tape clicks into). Anyone know what type of snap carrier this is?I haven't been able to find this exact one but I think this type of snap carrier is the equivalent: http://www.rvpartshop.ca/TYPE_E_SNAP_CURTAIN_CARRIER_p/cd45337.htm

That is an amazing-looking setup. Granted, it needs updating but is otherwise a gem.

Keep the pictures coming as we love to see progress and final shots.

Seems like you need to eventually move to the west coast where you can work on your trailer all year long in our weather! Sorry, I could not resist rubbing that in. Happy Trails

Thanks! It was tough finding patterns and colours that will work with the orange/gold of the canvas.

Definitely! I'm actually getting new rims and tires for it. You can get a full rim and tire for $100 from a store here in Ontario called Princess Auto.

For a 1983 it's in amazing shape! I budgeted $2,500 for a trailer and got this one for $1,500 so I'm using the extra $1,000 to make it amazing.

I work with a ton of graphic designers so I'm going to see if any one of them can re-create the logo and then I'll get new vinyls for it. The ones that are on there now are peeling off unfortunately.

The new fabric will really brighten it up inside your camper.

Looking forward to seeing photos as your re-do progresses.

(The Lionel logos are so cool! Might you consider keeping keeping them?)
